Leigh Ann Lesho

Leigh draws on the haunting melodies of the desert, with a voice that draws you into the story unfolding in your mind. Her musical style is a strong folk rock sound reminiscent of legends like Jewel with that classic sound of Arizona rock brought about by talented bands like Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, blending into a sound that appeals to a wide range of fans of rock, country, folk, pop, and western music. The Night Lights, her band, are a collection of the best musicians that could be assembled anywhere to compliment her style.

Live @ Ermanos: Carnivaleros

Gary Mackender…has crafted something so different in Dreams Are Strange that it defies any of the usual cliches or comparisons we reviewers so often rely upon. The melding of banjo and accordion alone probably goes against every sensibility and accepted musical convention known to mankind and yet it works in most wondrous ways. Adding (Heather) Hardy’s haunting violin to some of these tunes, ‘Donna’s Song’ in particular, is more than enough to make one sit up and notice." - Jim Lipson, Zocalo Magazine, May 2016

"Blend the harmonic sense of Innervisions-era Stevie Wonder with the skeletal downtempo beats of Portishead, and top it up with a scorching soul singer: that’s the magic recipe for Hello Dollface"  -Big Takeover, Brooklyn, NY
